Grants Showcase | Music | Raffles | Hors d'Oeuvres | Beer and Wine

Evening for Education supports the Newport Public Education Foundation's enrichment and community grants, which provide educational experiences that directly and positively impact the students of Newport's public schools. During the 2018-2019 academic year, NPEF awarded more than $22,000 in grants to classroom teachers and community partners.

During the evening, NPEF will also recognize the 2019-2020 teacher of the year: Steven Kalble, director of culinary arts at the Newport Area Career and Technical Center.

Noreen Stonor Drexel Education Awards

The Noreen Stonor Drexel Education Awards recognize individuals and organizations that significantly contribute to the students of Newport's public schools. They are named for the late Noreen Stonor Drexel in recognition of her 22 years of service as a special advisor to the foundation.
